About:

Griffin is the lead attorney in the Cleveland office, conveniently located in Downtown Cleveland and serving all of the Northeast Ohio area.

Griffin attended Wabash College where he double majored in Rhetoric and Theater. After college, Griffin earned his law degree at Northern Kentucky Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he focused on a variety of tax and business classes. Since joining, Griffin has specialized in IRS tax resolution, assisting clients with their tax liabilities via installment agreements, offers in compromise, and currently non-collectible status. Griffin also specializes in assisting his clients with IRS field agents as well as collection due process hearings by helping with preparation of IRS financial disclosures.

With his background, Griffin also leads the firm’s litigation, having successfully litigated before the United States Tax Court, Federal Circuit Courts, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

  • Successful negotiations with IRS Field Agents, Revenue Officers, and Settlement Officers to secure partial pay installment agreements, IRS currently non-collectible, and payment plans with the IRS. Clients were not required to liquidate assets including, house, retirement plans, cars, and stock portfolios.

  • Represented tax-preparer alleged to have committed misconduct before the Department of Justice.
  • Preparation of delinquent business and personal returns.
  • Obtained favorable judgment before the Department of Justice in the Southern District of Ohio regarding Federal Tax Liens.
