Griffin earned his undergraduate degree at Wabash College, double majoring in Rhetoric and Theater, and received his law degree from Northern Kentucky Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he focused on tax and business law. Since joining the firm, he has successfully represented clients before IRS Settlement Officers, Revenue Officers, and the United States Tax Court.

With extensive experience in federal tax litigation, Griffin has handled cases before the United States Tax Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He regularly assists clients with IRS audits, collection enforcement, and complex tax controversies, including seven-figure liabilities, Trust Fund Recovery Penalties, and litigating federal tax liens.

Griffin has successfully secured installment agreements, offers in compromise, and currently non-collectible status for clients without requiring liquidation of assets such as homes, retirement accounts, or investments. He also helps taxpayers challenge improper IRS enforcement actions, including Notices of Determination, and has obtained favorable remands from the United States Tax Court, and won Summary Judgment Motions before the Federal Circuit Court.
